Now what does this mean to you. If you're a Tennessee Homer, it's the end of an era. But it is what it is... Fulmer is sick and tired. He's been for a good while, since the expectations went up since the National Title. However, if you're a college football person who's outside of the state, it's the end of the SEC old guard.

Fulmer's reign is dead... Long live Fulmer's reign. Now, we begin the ridiculous talks of Jon Gruden and Will Muschamp to Tennessee...

Will Muschamp yes. Chuckie hells no. Mike Leach hells no (really... would you leave Texas, where 5 star recruits are on every street corner for Tennessee, where you have to work to recruit talent? No thanks). Maybe somebody like Bronco Mendenhal or your boy from Boise State could take over, too.

What I find interesting is that the current coach of Duke (and former coordinator for UT) has turned the job down. Something's got to be wrong if you'd rather coach a godawful team like Duke than come back to your old school.
